It’s been just over a month since we launched the ReBalance wealth simulator. For the first time, the simulator makes it possible to map the extent to which instruments such as seed capital or an inheritance tax would contribute to reducing wealth inequality in Germany over a long-term period. It was developed in an intensive steering process together with a group of scientists led by Timm Bönke and Charlotte Bartels from DIW Berlin.

The highlights of the launch as well as comments on the simulator from Elga Bartsch, Mario Czaja and Branko Milanovic, among others, are now available in a compact video.
