The Berlin Summit 2025 – Winning back the future

“The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters.” What the philosopher Antonio Gramsci wrote in the 1930s about his era is once again true for 2025. But what will the new world look like? What will follow the old one, which was shaped by belief in free markets and globalization? What does an industrial policy look like that anticipates developments instead of merely reacting to crises? What kind of climate policy truly brings people along? And how can globalization be better managed—without trade wars and the abuse of power by Big Tech? These are the questions that leading experts from around the world will explore at the second Berlin Summit, building on last year’s Berlin Declaration: Winning back the future. On June 11 and 12 in smaller, closed sessions, and open to all on June 13—at Landgut Stober on the outskirts of Berlin.
