Nobel laureate Joe Stiglitz on the rebirth of History 30 years after the fall of the wall

In an opinion piece published on Project Syndicate (see here) and in the Guardian (see here), Joseph E. Stiglitz, recipient of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, argues for a paradigm change after several decades of free-market orthodoxy have taken a toll on democracy: “We must revitalize the Enlightenment and recommit to honoring its values of freedom, respect for knowledge, and democracy.“
